Mark Kean (Ajax, ON) run at the 2010 Sun Life Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-2 loss to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2010 Sun Life Classic in Brantford, Ontario; Kean advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-6 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON). of the 2010 Sun Life Classic in Brantford, Ontario;
 
Kean finished 4-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kean lost 4-3 to Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON), then responded with a 5-3 win over Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, PQ). Kean won 4-2 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Kean went on to lose 7-3 against Wayne Middaugh (Toronto, ON). Kean responded with a 9-5 win over Jonathan Beuk (Kingston, ON). Kean won 8-0 against Nick Rizzo (Brantford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kean earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Sun Life Classic, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 66.058 total points. Kean ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 51.410 points earned so far this season.
