8-2 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 8-3 to Randy Ferbey (St. Johns, NL). Reid lost 8-5 to Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) where Reid responded with a 8-2 win over Mathew Camm (Ottawa, ON). Reid went on to lose 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Reid earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 99.100 total points. Reid ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 55.430 points earned so far this season.
