Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) won 10-7 over Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Canada Cup of Curling, held December 1 - 5, 2010 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
 
Howard finished 5-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) 8-5, then won 8-7 against Brent Bawel (Calgary, AB) and 10-3 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB). Howard won 6-4 against Mathew Camm (Ottawa, ON), then won 8-6 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Canada Cup of Curling Championship title, Howard earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $29,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 375.240 total points. Howard ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 139.640 points earned so far this season.
