Menard finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard lost 9-8 to Guy Hemmings (Levis, PQ), then responded with a 7-1 win over Daniel Bedard (Lacolle, PQ). Menard won 8-3 against Frederic Lawton (Baie d'Urfe, PQ), then won 10-2 against Michel Briand (Longue Pointe, PQ) and 6-1 against Jean-Sébastien Roy (Levis, PQ). Menard won 7-6 against Serge Reid (Saguenay, PQ), then won 8-7 against Yannick Martel (Kenogami, PQ). Menard went on to lose 8-4 against Gagne. Menard responded with a 9-5 win over Martin Ferland (Levis, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Tankard, Menard take home 6.700 world rankings points, remaining in 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 179.020 total points. Menard ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 84.210 points earned so far this season.
