Francois Gagne (Montreal, PQ) won 8-7 over Jean-Michel Menard (Levis, PQ) in the Final of the Quebec Tankard, held January 30 - February 6, 2011 in Gatineau, Quebec.
 
Gagne finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gagne lost 9-5 to Daniel Bedard (Lacolle, PQ), then responded with a 5-4 win over Yannick Martel (Kenogami, PQ). Gagne won 5-4 against Jean-Sébastien Roy (Levis, PQ). Gagne went on to lose 6-3 against Guy Hemmings (Levis, PQ). Gagne responded with a 5-4 win over Michel Briand (Longue Pointe, PQ). Gagne won 8-4 against Martin Ferland (Levis, PQ), then won 9-5 against Frederic Lawton (Baie d'Urfe, PQ) and 8-4 against Menard. Gagne went on to lose 7-4 against Serge Reid (Saguenay, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Quebec Tankard Championship title, Gagne earned 10.720 world rankings points, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 49.073 total points. Gagne ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.050 points earned so far this season.
