Paul Dobson (Saint John, NB) run at the 2011 Molson Canadian Mens Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). of the 2011 Molson Canadian Mens Tankard in Miramichi, New Brunswick;
 
Dobson finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dobson lost 6-4 to Scott Jones (Moncton, NB), then responded with a 11-1 win over Gary Sullivan (Carleton, NB). Dobson won 4-3 against Derek Ellard (Fredericton, NB), then won 7-5 against Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB) and 6-4 against Grattan. Dobson won 8-5 against Jeremy Mallais (Moncton, NB). Dobson went on to lose 7-6 against Rick Perron (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Dobson earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Molson Canadian Mens Tankard. For week 22 of the event schedule, Dobson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dobson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
