After advancing directly to the championship game, Rick Perron (Moncton, NB) lost 6-4 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in the Final of the Molson Canadian Mens Tankard, held February 2 - 6, 2011 in Miramichi, New Brunswick.
 
Perron finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perron defeated Gary Sullivan (Carleton, NB) 9-7, then won 10-8 against Scott Jones (Moncton, NB). Perron went on to lose 5-4 against Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB). Perron responded with a 9-6 win over Derek Ellard (Fredericton, NB). Perron won 8-4 against Jeremy Mallais (Moncton, NB), then won 8-2 against Grattan and 7-6 against Paul Dobson (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Molson Canadian Mens Tankard, Perron take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 148th place overall with 11.750 total points. Perron ranks 138th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.250 points earned so far this season.
