Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) won 6-4 over Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Canadian Direct Insurance BC Mens Championship, held February 7 - 13, 2011 in Vernon, British Columbia.
 
Cotter finished 9-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter defeated Jason Clark (Victoria, BC) 7-4, then won 7-6 against Dangerfield and 5-4 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC). Cotter won 4-3 against Brent Yamada (Kamloops, BC), then won 8-3 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) and 8-7 against Darren Heath (Vernon, BC). Cotter won 6-4 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC), then won 8-5 against Tom Buchy (Kimberley, BC) and 11-5 against Aron Herrick (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Canadian Direct Insurance BC Mens Championship Championship title, Cotter earned 6.160 world rankings points, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 194.670 total points. Cotter ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 72.120 points earned so far this season.
