Rizzo lost 6-5 to John Epping (Toronto, ON) where Rizzo responded with a 8-7 win over Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Rizzo went on to lose 8-6 against Peter Corner (Toronto, ON). Rizzo responded with a 10-2 win over Jake Higgs (Harrison, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
