Bice went on to lose 6-3 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON). Bice lost 8-7 to Nick Rizzo (Brantford, ON) where Bice responded with a 8-7 win over Dale Matchett (Bradford, ON). Bice won 9-7 against Mark Kean (Ajax, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
