Koe went on to lose 7-6 against Martin. Koe responded with a 9-2 win over Tom Appelman (Edmonton, AB). Koe went on to lose 7-6 against Geoff Walker (Grande Prairie, AB). Koe responded with a 6-5 win over Steve Petryk (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Boston Pizza Cup, Koe take home 10.300 world rankings points, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.3 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 150.700 points earned so far this season.
