Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) qualified for the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB). of the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Fowler finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fowler defeated Brian Peters (Morris, MB) 7-4, then went on to lose 5-2 against Andrew Irving (Winnipeg, MB). Fowler responded with a 8-2 win over Richard Muntain (Lac Du Bonnet, MB). Fowler won 5-4 against Lu-An Chen (Harbin, CHN), then won 8-2 against David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Fowler earned 5.400 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 144.901 total points. Fowler ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 87.460 points earned so far this season.
