Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) won 6-2 over Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational, held March 31 - April 3, 2011 in Victoria, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Howard won 8-2 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia; and won 4-2 over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia;
 
Howard finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) 8-2, then won 8-4 against Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) and 6-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational Championship title, Howard earned 25.760 world rankings points along with the $22,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 7.2 after improving upon their best so far this season. Howard ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 217.520 points earned so far this season.
