Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) run at the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB). of the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia; Martin advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-3 win over Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC).
 
Martin finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Naomasa Takeda (Aomori, JPN) 7-1, then won 7-5 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) and 5-1 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Martin earned 12.880 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational. For week 30 of the event schedule, Martin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 1st place on the World Ranking Standings with 513.090 total points.
