									Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) qualified for the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-1 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL).  of the 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia; 
 
Simmons finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simmons defeated Jason Montgomery (Duncan, BC) 8-2, then went on to lose 8-4 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON). Simmons responded with a 8-3 win over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Simmons won 8-3 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Simmons earned 9.660 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational, remaining in 12th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.54 after improving upon their best so far this season. Simmons ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 114.580 points earned so far this season.
