Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce lost
9-3 to Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC), then responded with a 6-5 win over Rick McKague (Edmonton, AB). Pierce went on to lose 6-5 against Jason Montgomery (Duncan, BC). Pierce responded with a 8-2 win over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC). Pierce went on to lose 5-4 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 30 of the event schedule, Pierce did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pierce ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
