Meakin went on to lose 8-7 against Sarah Fullerton (Cornwall, PEI). Meakin responded with a 9-4 win over Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK). Meakin won 7-3 against Darlene Sivertson (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Meakin earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Women, moving up 62 spots the World Ranking Standings into 159th place overall with 5.050 total points. Meakin ranks 107th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.050 points earned so far this season.
