After advancing directly to the championship game, Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB) lost 6-4 to Trish Paulsen (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Women, held January 29 - February 6, 2011 in Calgary, Alberta.

Chyz finished 11-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chyz defeated Kendra Lilly (Sudbury, NONT) 9-3, then won 11-2 against Breanne Meakin (Winnipeg, MB) and 10-3 against Jennifer Armstrong (Fredericton, NB). Chyz won 11-3 against Lindsay Doucet (Chester, NS), then won 11-1 against Erin Porter (St. John's, NL) and 6-4 against Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK). Chyz won 11-7 against Clancy Grandy (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON), then won 6-4 against Taryn Williams (Yellowknife, NT) and 5-4 against Sarah Fullerton (Cornwall, PEI). Chyz won 7-6 against Alanna Routledge (Montreal, PQ). Chyz went on to lose 9-7 against Darlene Sivertson (Victoria, BC). Chyz responded with a 9-2 win over Paulsen in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Women, Chyz take home 5.000 world rankings points. For week 22 of the event schedule, Chyz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Chyz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
