Pitre lost 8-6 to Cody Johnston (Thunde Bay, NONT) where Pitre responded with a 8-4 win over Colin Thomas (St. John's, NL). Pitre went on to lose 10-3 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Pitre responded with a 7-5 win over Colin Miller (Yellowknife, NT). Pitre went on to lose 7-6 against Colin Hodgson (Calgary, AB). Pitre responded with a 8-5 win over Sam Good (Stonewall, MB). Pitre went on to lose 7-6 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
