Gardner lost 11-2 to Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK). Gardner lost 8-5 to Colin Thomas (St. John's, NL). Gardner lost 9-4 to Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS). Gardner lost 10-3 to Mathew Camm (Ottawa, ON) where Gardner responded with a 6-5 win over Colin Hodgson (Calgary, AB). Gardner went on to lose 7-4 against Sam Good (Stonewall, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
