Kathy Brown (Guelph, ON) qualified for the 2010 OCT Championships playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Lisa Farnell (Peterborough, ON). of the 2010 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Brown are currently . In their opening game, Brown plays Cheryl Losier (St. Catharines, ON) on Thursday at 6:30pm Stephanie Van Huyse (Toronto, ON) on Friday at 11am and Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON) at 4pm and Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON) at 4pm.
 
With their runner-up finish at the OCT Championships, Brown take home 7.750 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize. Brown gained 26 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 35 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 35thplace overall with 26.000 total points. Brown ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.750 points earned so far this season.
