Farnell went on to lose 6-3 against Jacqueline Harrison (Elmvale, ON). Farnell lost 7-6 to Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Farnell earned 6.520 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 26.120 total points.
