Homan won 7-4 against Barbara Kelly (Ottawa, ON), then won 9-3 against Chantal Osborne (Thurso, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Homan earned 13.040 world rankings points along with the $5,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 61.176 total points. Homan ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.040 points earned so far this season.
