To advance to the championship game, Middaugh won 5-4 over Lisa Eyamie (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2010 Schmirler Curling Classic presented by Bank of America in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 7-5 over Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Schmirler Curling Classic presented by Bank of America in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Middaugh finished 5-0 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) 7-4, then won 9-3 against Saskatchewan's Susan Lang and 7-5 against Saskatchewan's Sherrilee Orsted. Middaugh won 10-7 against Anna Sidorova (Moskov, RUS), then won 6-3 against Holly Scott (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Schmirler Curling Classic presented by Bank of America, Middaugh take home 25.000 world rankings points along with the $8,200CDN prize, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 97.235 total points.
