Jessie Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) won 5-3 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic, held October 15 - 18, 2010 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in Medicine Hat, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kaufman won 7-5 over Lindsay Makichuk (Lloydminster, AB) in the semifinals of the 2010 Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-4 over Casey Scheidegger (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada;
 
Kaufman finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaufman lost 7-6 to British Columbia's Jerri Pat Armstrong-Smith, then responded with a 9-0 win over Michelle Corbeil (Lloydminster, AB). Kaufman won 8-5 against Alberta's Arlene Keck, then won 7-5 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) and 6-4 against Lisa Johnson (Edmonton, AB). Kaufman won 7-4 against Makichuk in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic Championship title, Kaufman earned 19.840 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 47.353 total points. Kaufman ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.650 points earned so far this season.
