Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-3 over Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Lotteries Womens Curling Classic, held October 22 - 25, 2010 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Carey won 5-4 over Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2010 Manitoba Lotteries Womens Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-3 over Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Manitoba Lotteries Womens Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Carey finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carey defeated Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK) 5-4, then won 8-6 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) and 7-2 against Overton-Clapham. Carey won 6-4 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Manitoba Lotteries Womens Curling Classic Championship title, Carey earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $15,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 13th place overall with 101.488 total points. Carey ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 69.840 points earned so far this season.
