Overton-Clapham finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Overton-Clapham defeated Lisa Blixhavn (Winnipeg, MB) 4-2, then won 8-4 against Nedohin. Overton-Clapham went on to lose 7-2 against Carey. Overton-Clapham responded with a 7-4 win over Karen Fallis (Winnipeg, MB). Overton-Clapham went on to lose 6-4 against Middaugh.
