Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) lost 7-3 to Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the Canada Cup of Curling, held December 1 - 5, 2010 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
 
Bernard finished 4-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bernard defeated Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-7 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON). Bernard responded with a 7-4 win over Shelley Nichols (St. John's, NL). Bernard won 9-4 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-1 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Canada Cup of Curling, Bernard take home 30.000 world rankings points along with the $18,200CDN prize, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 284.180 total points. Bernard ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 75.360 points earned so far this season.
