Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 9-6 over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON) in the Final of the ON Scotties Tournament of Hearts, held January 24 - 30, 2011 in Thornhill, Ontario. 
 
Homan finished 8-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Marika Bakewell (London, ON) 11-3, then won 7-2 against Marlo Dahl (Thunder Bay, ON) and 10-5 against Lisa Farnell (Kingston, ON). Homan won 5-2 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON). Homan went on to lose 8-6 against Susan McKnight (Uxbridge, ON). Homan responded with a 8-2 win over Kristy Russell (Shelburne, ON). Homan won 9-6 against McCarville, then won 7-0 against Alison Goring (Georgetown, ON) and 6-4 against Ashley Kallos (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the ON Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 11.280 world rankings points, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 118.666 total points. Homan ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 70.530 points earned so far this season.
