7-5 to Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Stina Viktorsson (Umea, SWE) where Middaugh responded with a 5-2 win over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Middaugh went on to lose 5-4 against Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Middaugh earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 142.525 total points. Middaugh ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 70.290 points earned so far this season.
