Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) run at the 2011 GP Car and Home Players Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-4 loss to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2011 GP Car and Home Players Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta; Muirhead advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-3 win over Desiree Owen (Grande Prairie, AB). of the 2011 GP Car and Home Players Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
 
Muirhead finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) 7-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Jones. Muirhead responded with a 6-4 win over Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Muirhead won 5-4 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
