Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-5 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the GP Car and Home Players Championship, held April 12 - 18, 2011 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 7-4 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2011 GP Car and Home Players Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 8-2 over Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jones finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 7-5, then won 7-4 against Muirhead and 6-5 against Carey in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the GP Car and Home Players Championship Championship title, Jones earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 36 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jones ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 217.150 points earned so far this season.
