Jones finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated
Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 7-5, then won
7-4 against
Muirhead and
6-5 against
Carey in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the GP Car and Home Players Championship Championship title, Jones earned
45.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the
World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 36 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jones ranks 1st overall on the
Year-to-Date rankings with
217.150 points earned so far this season.
