Smith-Dacey responded with a 8-2 win over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Smith-Dacey won 12-6 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC), then won 8-7 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB). Smith-Dacey went on to lose 6-3 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI). Smith-Dacey responded with a 7-4 win over Amber Holland (Kronau, SK). Smith-Dacey won 11-3 against Stacie Devereaux (St. John's, NL), then won 8-7 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Smith-Dacey went on to lose 9-4 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
