Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ) finished 4-7 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Larouche lost
7-6 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN), then responded with a 10-5 win over Heather Smith-Dacey (Halifax, NS). Larouche went on to lose 10-5 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI). Larouche responded with a 7-6 win over Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB). Larouche went on to lose 7-6 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK). Larouche responded with a 10-6 win over Stacie Devereaux (St. John's, NL). Larouche went on to lose 7-5 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC). Larouche lost 9-4 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Larouche lost 8-5 to Andrea Kelly (Oromocto, NB) where Larouche responded with a 10-8 win over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Larouche went on to lose 5-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Larouche earned 8.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Larouche did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Larouche ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
