Pottinger won 10-3 against Nicole Reiser (Fargo, ND). Pottinger went on to lose 7-4 against Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN). Pottinger responded with a 7-5 win over Erika Brown (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USA Womens Nationals, Pottinger take home 15.000 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 67.778 total points.
