Allison Pottinger (Bemidji, MN) lost 9-4 to Patti Lank (Lewiston, NY) in the Final of the USA Womens Nationals, held February 12 - 19, 2011 in Fargo, North Dakota.
 
Pottinger finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pottinger defeated Wisconsin's Jenna Haag 7-1, then won 9-4 against New York's Chrissy Haase and 8-2 against Lori Karst (Madison, WI). Pottinger won 7-3 against Norma O'Leary (St. Paul, MN). Pottinger went on to lose 9-8 against Lank. Pottinger responded with a 10-9 win over Aileen Sormunen (Duluth, MN). Pottinger won 10-3 against Nicole Reiser (Fargo, ND). Pottinger went on to lose 7-4 against Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN). Pottinger responded with a 7-5 win over Erika Brown (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USA Womens Nationals, Pottinger take home 15.000 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 67.778 total points.
