Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) won 7-6 over Joe Scharf (Thunder Bay, ON) in the Final of the The Dominion Northern Ontario Mens Provincials, held February 6 - 13, 2011 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
 
Jacobs finished 9-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Tim Nordin (Stratton, NONT) 11-1, then won 5-2 against Mike Pozihun (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 4-2 against Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NONT). Jacobs won 7-1 against John Salo (Geraldton, NONT), then won 6-4 against Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 7-1 against David MacInnes (Englehart, NONT). Jacobs went on to lose 5-3 against Scharf. Jacobs responded with a 8-4 win over Mike Jakubo (Copper Cliff, NONT). Jacobs won 8-3 against Dustin Montpellier (North Bay, NONT). Jacobs went on to lose 7-5 against Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, NONT). Jacobs responded with a 7-6 win over Mike Assad (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the The Dominion Northern Ontario Mens Provincials Championship title, Jacobs earned 4.000 world rankings points, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 133.011 total points. Jacobs ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 72.610 points earned so far this season.
