Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) lost 8-6 to Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Tim Hortons Brier, held March 5 - 13, 2011 in London, Ontario.
 
Howard finished 8-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard lost 5-4 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Shawn Adams (Halifax, NS). Howard won 10-3 against Steve Laycock (Regina, SK), then won 7-5 against Jim Cotter (Kelowna, BC) and 12-4 against Francois Gagne (Montreal, QC). Howard won 6-1 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL), then won 7-4 against Stoughton. Howard went on to lose 5-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Howard responded with a 11-1 win over Eddie MacKenzie (Charlottetown, PEI). Howard won 9-2 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Howard went on to lose 6-5 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Brier, Howard take home 30.000 world rankings points, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 16.23 after improving upon their best so far this season. Howard ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 210.320 points earned so far this season.
