Martin won 7-5 against Francois Gagne (Montreal, QC), then won 11-3 against Steve Laycock (Regina, SK). Martin went on to lose 5-1 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Martin responded with a 7-6 win over Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Martin won 6-5 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Martin earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Tim Hortons Brier, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.52 after improving upon their best so far this season.
