Wang won 6-4 against Norway's Linn Githmark, then won 8-5 against Russia's Liudmilla Privivkova and 7-5 against Denmark's Lene Nielsen in their final qualifying round match.

Wang earned 25.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Capital One World Womens Curling Championship, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 8th place overall with 196.760 total points. Wang ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 87.050 points earned so far this season.
