6-5 to Czech Republic's Anna Kubeskova, then responded with a 7-6 win over Patti Lank (Lewiston, USA). Sloan went on to lose 5-3 against Sweden's Anette Norberg. Sloan responded with a 7-3 win over Amber Holland (Kronau, CAN). Sloan won 9-3 against Germany's Andrea Schopp. Sloan went on to lose 8-2 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Sloan lost 8-6 to Russia's Liudmilla Privivkova. Sloan lost 9-3 to Korea's Ji-Sun Kim. Sloan lost 12-5 to Denmark's Lene Nielsen. Sloan lost 9-3 to Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) where Sloan responded with a 7-3 win over Norway's Linn Githmark in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sloan earned 8.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 29 of the event schedule, Sloan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sloan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
