Lank responded with a 6-4 win over Czech Republic's Anna Kubeskova. Lank won 8-3 against Sweden's Anette Norberg in their final qualifying round match.
 
Lank earned 12.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 44th place overall with 45.876 total points. Lank ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.750 points earned so far this season.
