Dufour responded with a 8-5 win over Denmark's Tommy Stjerne. Dufour won 6-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Dufour went on to lose 11-5 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, CAN). Dufour responded with a 10-3 win over Luan Chen (Harbin, CHN). Dufour won 8-7 against Switzerland's Christof Schwaller. Dufour went on to lose 6-5 against Germany's Andy Kapp. Dufour lost 6-1 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) where Dufour responded with a 9-7 win over Pete Fenson (Bemidji, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
