In their opening game, Brewster defeated Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) 7-6, then won 9-6 against Korea's Dong-Keun Lee and 10-6 against Switzerland's Christof Schwaller. Brewster won 8-5 against Germany's Andy Kapp, then won 5-4 against Czech Republic's Jiri Snitil and 5-3 against Luan Chen (Harbin, CHN). Brewster went on to lose 7-3 against Stoughton. Brewster responded with a 7-3 win over Denmark's Tommy Stjerne. Brewster went on to lose 7-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Brewster responded with a 6-1 win over Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA). Brewster won 7-6 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Ford World Mens Curling Championship, Brewster take home 30.000 world rankings points, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 79.435 total points.
