Stefan Karnusian (St. Moritz, SUI) finished 5-6 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Karnusian lost
9-3 to Denmark's Ulrik Schmidt, droppimg another game, 7-5 to Pete Fenson (Bemidji, USA). Karnusian lost 9-5 to Kevin Koe (Edmonton, CAN) where Karnusian responded with a 4-3 win over Germany's Andy Kapp. Karnusian won 5-4 against Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA). Karnusian went on to lose 7-1 against Torger Nergaard (Oslo, NOR). Karnusian responded with a 7-5 win over Italy's Joel Retornaz. Karnusian went on to lose 7-2 against Fengchun Wang (Harbin, CHN). Karnusian responded with a 7-5 win over Sweden's Per Carlsen. Karnusian went on to lose 9-7 against Japan's Makato Tsuruga. Karnusian responded with a 9-7 win over Warwick Smith (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Karnusian did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Karnusian ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
