CHAMPION: Jones Wins 2011 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational

Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-2 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational, held March 31 - April 3, 2011 in Victoria, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 10-4 over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals

Jones finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) 5-3, then won 7-2 against Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC) and 6-5 against Roselyn Craig (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational Championship title, Jones earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque.
