Cissi Ostlund (Karlstad, SWE) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Ostlund finished 7-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ostlund lost
9-6 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN), then responded with a 9-5 win over Linn Githmark (Oslo, NOR). Ostlund won 7-6 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI), then won 8-5 against Moe Meguro (Aomori, JPN). Ostlund went on to lose 7-3 against Eve Muirhead (Pitlochry, SCO). Ostlund lost 9-2 to Andrea Schopp (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, GER) where Ostlund responded with a 10-3 win over Liudmilla Privivkova (Moscow, RUS). Ostlund won 7-4 against Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Jelgava, LAT), then won 10-9 against Angelina Jensen (Taarnby, DEN) and 9-5 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Ostlund went on to lose 9-4 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Ostlund did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ostlund ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
