Brown finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Gerry Geurts (London, ON) 6-2, then won 10-1 against Greg Jorgensen (Detroit, MI) and 7-0 against Matt Holtwick (Cleveland, OH). Brown went on to lose 6-5 against Alexandra Carlson (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Fort Wayne Summer Cash, Brown take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,981CDN prize. Brown gained 8.643 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 106 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 106thplace overall with 8.643 total points.
