Elias lost 5-4 to Manitoba's David Tonnellier where Elias responded with a 6-5 win over Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB). Elias went on to lose 6-1 against Dean Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
