Advancing directly to the semifinals, Rumfeldt won 10-5 over Ontario's Denis Belanger to advance to the championship game. of the 2011 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario;
 
Rumfeldt finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rumfeldt defeated Ontario's Mike Anderson 8-2, then won 6-4 against Mark Kean (Toronto, ON) and 5-4 against Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON). Rumfeldt won 6-4 against Cory Heggestad (Barrie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, Rumfeldt earned 10.750 world rankings points along with the $3,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 45.752 total points. Rumfeldt ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.050 points earned so far this season.
