Higgs responded with a 6-2 win over Ontario's Dale Matchett in their final qualifying round match.
 
Higgs earned 3.225 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the KW Fall Classic, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 56.834 total points. Higgs ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.135 points earned so far this season.
